Things you can control VS things you can’t

So many people I am talking to are anxious, frustrated or feeling a very heavy energy around them at the moment…

Take a look at what is making you feel this way and journal on it…📝

Ask yourself what can I control, and what is out of your control.Putting your energy into things that are out of your control is not productive, drains your energy and leaves you feeling low and tired.

Try to focus on what you can control at this crazy time…❓Ask yourself… What can you do to make this better?What can you do to feel calmer?What do I want to be listening to?

Focus on what you can control and let go of what you can’t. Read a nice book, journal, use essential oils, meditate, get out for some fresh air, take a bath, listen to a positive podcast or audio book. Be kind to yourself 💕

7 Day Journaling workshop

Journaling can be used as a very powerful tool and has a number of benefits.

The benefits include:

  1. helps to declutter the mind
  2. builds creativity
  3. give and increases inspiration
  4. keeps you on track
  5. makes you accountable
  6. improves mood
  7. improves your sense of gratitude

and so much more….

In 2018, I began journaling and found it so beneficial even though at the time I wasn’t aware that I was journaling or what the benefits of it was. In 2020 I put together this 7 day workshop using activities that I found so beneficial.

How the 7 days works:

Before the 7 days begin I post out the 7 day journaling workbook and an essential oil blend, I then email a planning PDF journal and a grounding meditation. The 7 day workshop is run through a private facebook group – nobody in the group will be asked to share or contribute, it is used just as a point of contact. Using the planning PDF – that can be printed or written into a copy, i suggest that you follow this on the Sunday and make a plan for your week. At 6am daily I will upload a video or a post to go with the activity in the journal for that day it can be done at a time that suits you – it will also help explain the activity and why it is beneficial. Every evening at 6pm I upload a post that gives details on journaling the benefits, the types of journals and the techniques that can also be used. At the end of the 7 days i will email on a 21 day follow on journal that you can print or again copy into you book, i put this together for people who wanted to keep up with the habit but wanted to prompts.

What do you need?

  1. a quiet space
  2. a pen
  3. a copy book
  4. and a willingness give it the time so you get the most from it.

New Logo

Good Morning, after an amazing weekend graduating as a Reflexologist. I’m very excited to show you all my new logo.

I wanted my new logo to reflect a little of what I do, I gave @murphyandmeco my vision and she totally got it 💕 she is talented.

I wanted my logo to represent my ethos for how I want to support people when they come to SoleScent Wellness . I wanted it to be calming and show the foot for the reflexology, the chakra colours and I wanted to add a lotus flower which I feel shows a representation of growth, even in the hardest of times in your life ‘in the muddiest of water’ you can still grow and bloosm into something beautiful and wonderful.
